On behalf of our client, Manpower is looking for an experienced Chemical Engineer with a strong background in the process industry, particularly in chemical, carbon, or mineral sectors. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in chemical process engineering, plant operations, and water treatment systems, with a proven ability to develop and optimize technologies, processes, and equipment in line with industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities
- Participate as an active member of the engineering team in the implementation and development of technologies and projects, with a focus on chemical and process water systems.
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute assigned technical and commercial activities within designated projects, sub-projects, and processes, including process water treatment and integration into production.
- Ensure all engineering work complies with applicable codes, industry standards, and internal procedures, while facilitating effective communication and coordination across disciplines and stakeholders.
- Manage procurement and technical evaluation of equipment, including engagement and negotiations with suppliers.
- Represent the engineering team in meetings with clients, contractors, and suppliers, contributing to resolving technical and operational challenges.
- Provide technical input for project proposals and feasibility studies.
- Develop and maintain quality control plans, procedures, and work instructions in accordance with national and international standards.
- Support preventive and corrective actions, as well as root cause analysis for production issues and process non-conformities.
- Drive continuous improvement of production processes, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability, including water reuse and optimization strategies.
- Conduct research and development activities, laboratory analyses, and validation of new testing methods.
- Perform quality control through data collection, processing, and reporting for solid and liquid products, additives, fresh and process water, and newly developed materials.
- Ensure traceability of materials and processes in line with control plans and applicable standards.
- Develop verification plans and carry out internal calibration of laboratory and production measuring instruments.
- Lead or support laboratory development projects, including selection and procurement of analytical instruments, laboratory equipment, and consumables.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor in alignment with company objectives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- Relevant work experience in the process industry (chemical, carbon, minerals)
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Systematic and analytical approach with high self-motivation
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work in cross-functional environments
