Description
Scope of positionEfficient and accurate execution of service contracts and supplies in expeditionary operations, according to the terms and conditions laid down in the outstanding contracts with different clients as well as to company guidelines. Tasks and responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing and coordinating day-to-day operations within the department, on site and off site.
- Managing and assisting with on-going projects and projects that arise.
- Develop and implement company quality & safety processes and procedures.
- Recommend new procedures for increasing the efficiency of day-to-day operations.
- Maintain communication with team members, and vendors to ensure adherence to protocols across key touch points.
- Assist the area manager in developing, planning, and coordinating operational activities.
- Ensure that operations are in legal compliance with local and national regulations. Develop strong relationships with key suppliers and measure suppliers’ performance based on cost, quality, on-time delivery, and service level.
- Monitor day-to-day operations, report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements when necessary.
- Execution and follow up of received task orders and coordination with accounting & finance department.
- Communicate and coordinate with customers on daily basis, operations team, and vendors/suppliers.
- Maintains good working relationship with vendors and customers.
- Negotiation of prices to identify opportunities for increased profits.
- Preparation of quotes/offers for submission in coordination with the area manager.
- Interacts with customers and suppliers, answers questions, providing solutions and resolving issues.
- Attends operations on site in order to monitor the progress, quality, safety, and to train vendors/suppliers in execution phase.
- Onboard and train new employees to ensure that they adhere to standard operating procedures.
- Support on the procurement activities (finding new potential providers through market research, coordinate meetings, send RFQ, analyse the tariffs received, negotiate prices and payment conditions as per company’s guidelines, keep the vendor list file updated).
- Responsible for ensuring product safety, authenticity, legality and quality to all our customers.
- Have a duty of care to follow all applicable QSHE and Group policies and report any type of incident immediately to their line manager.

- University degrees or equivalent years of experience in the field
