Description
Scope of positionThe Government Contract Specialist is responsible for assisting the Government Contract Manager in the management of the entire range of the activities of the Government Contract Team, with the capability to perform the same tasks of the Manager in case of temporary absence.
- Tasks and responsibilities
- Bid and Proposal Support:
- Research, identification and analysis of the suitable new Business Opportunities, also through the
- preparation of reports, summaries and factsheets
- Preparation, formatting, and submission of tender documentation in accordance with dedicated
- requirements.
- Support the Government Contract Manager within proposal writing.
- Provide required internal inputs and approvals for bid submissions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Update and maintain the database of bids, tenders, and proposal outcomes, ensuring all documentation is archived properly from the team.
- Create reports, summaries, and factsheets related to government opportunities as requested.
- Contract Management:
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of awarded contracts, amendments, extensions, and related correspondence.
- Meet key contractual deadlines and milestones, ensuring timely follow-up and renewal processes.
- Preparation and processing of contract changes, modifications, or extensions under the guidance of the Government Contract Coordinator.
- Communication:
- Communicate tender requirements to internal stakeholders.
- Communicate contract terms, conditions and updates to internal stakeholders.
- Compliance and Regulation:
- Become familiar with all the laws and regulations (such as but not limited to FARs – Federal Acquisition Regulations) mentioned in a tender or in a contract to ensure advice within the company.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in Government Contract
- Provide support during Audit process preparation and execution
Requirements
- Master’s degree in business administration or equivalent, or a related experience in the field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of English, additional language is a plus.
